  • More knitting finished this past week.

Isaac’s French tutor/babysitter just had a little girl, so I finished a pair of booties for her. If only she’d had a boy, she could’ve gotten that darling blue hooded sweatshirt. Oh well! (BTW, I thought my French was OK–I can do the “R” no prob. But her new baby’s name is Aurore. I sound like a ten year old boy trying to hock a . . . nevermind.)
In fact, on the right are booties that I finished to go with the blue sweatshirt–aren’t they cute! Don’t it make you want to have another, just so you can get such a cute outfit in the mail from me?

  • That’s okay about Aurore – I bet the native French-speakers sound almost as bad, LOL!  That name looks so beautiful, but it sounds so, well, German, with those two French “r’s” so close together.   I think it would sound much better with a Spanish or Italian “r,” although not sure I could get my tongue to flap twice in quick sucession like that, either.  The booties are absolutely adorable!

  • Anyhow I ought to divulge you should be finally sincere the same as each time
