toobigGood thing the crib is already ready, eh?

I don't think he's going to fit in the cradle much longer.

Actually, we've already put him in the crib for a few of his afternoon naps.  (This is mostly so that I can sleep in our room.)

Isaac is very excited about this.  He thinks it's bringing him ever closer to the day when he can earn money.

Have I mentioned that here?  We promised Isaac that he could get paid for certain baby-care tasks.  The one he's most excited about is 25 cents for every feeding between 11 pm and 7 am.  He's not really able to earn that yet, since we're still working on the whole breastfeeding thing.  But he's hoping for it soon.

He imagines that he is capable of thought and action after having been woken from a sound sleep.  As someone who routinely fails even to wake him from a sound sleep, I am not anticipating that I'll have to budget much for this category.

The ones he hasn't really jumped on are 1) a penny a minute for reading; 2) a dime for a wet diaper; and 3) a quarter for a dirty diaper.  I wonder why?
