  • Insignificant Announcement

Contest is CLOSED, but you're welcome to leave more guesses anyway!

It has been brought to my attention that I have utterly failed to "out" myself here on this blog.

My apologies.  I will rectify this at once, and introduce a poll (with prizes!) to atone for my failure.

    The announcement:

[Our Last Name] Baby 3.0 is on the way.  Due date is . . . well, soon.  Looks like a boy.

    My penance:

I will be making three batches of salt caramels in the near future.

One batch for the winner of each of the following polls:

    Poll #1:
Predicted time and date of Son 3.0's arrival.  (Official due date is December 18th.)

    Poll #2:
Predicted weight of Son 3.0.  (His older brothers' weights were 8lbs. 10oz. and 9lbs. 10oz.)

    Poll #3:
Predicted name of Son 3.0.  (Older brothers' names: Isaac Wesley [My Maiden Name] and John Theophilus.)

To participate in any or all of the above polls, simply leave a guess here on the blog.  Closest guess wins the prize!

Ties will be decided by random number generator.  Judgment on "closest guess" for the third poll is at the discretion of contest organizer.  Life-threatening allergies cannot be accommodated, although every effort will be made to keep caramels free of ingredients that don't belong in caramels.  Caramels contain dairy, salt, and sugar, and are not suitable for those on dairy-free, salt-free, or sugar-free diets.  Contest organizers cannot be held responsible for intense craving caused by salt caramels.  Contest organizers reserve the right to make decisions that may affect the outcome of the above polls, including, but not limited to, consenting to medical interventions that delay or accelerate birth and deciding on names.  Contest organizers make no warrant regarding the swift delivery or attracting packaging of prizes, particularly if Son 3.0 decides to be a pain in the tush, like his older brothers.
