So, after finishing TWO projects last week, I was very good and only started ONE project this week.
Wanna see it?

Not a lot of progress yet. It's going to be a pair of
these socks, only in dark blue and teal instead of brown and pink.
I started them on our road trip up north, and I had actually made a fair bit of progress before realizing that it wasn't working. I was doing them on 2mm needles, which is the size I now use for socks. However, the fair isle style (where you're carrying two different colors and alternating between them every couple of stitches) tends to be tighter than plain stockinette, and I wasn't knitting loosely enough to keep the knitted fabric even.
So, I ripped it out (it's really not that painful) and started over with 2.5mm needles. I think it's going to be better.
I've also been crocheting steadily away on this project:

Crochet is supposed to be faster than knitting, but I think it just takes me longer. I can't do it without looking, so I can't do it while reading or in the car (I get carsick if I have to look at it). But I'm making progress.
If you can't guess what this is now, I shan't respect you a whit.

I suppose, then, that I am not the respectable type.
Dude, you really should be ashamed. Of all people.
I REALLY thought you were knitting a bikini top from the shape of that first photo. I was concerned, and clearly need a nap.
I'm with farmat360, I too thought it was a bikini. I guess you won't be respecting me a whit, because the second photo looks like a dog bed for Archie?
Isn't that embarassing? I'm a knitter even and still thought "bikini."
