Small Gardens
The college is providing housing for our fellowship, so the house we’re living in is not ours.
(This makes Stephen very happy, because they’re also mowing the lawn for us. Very happy.)
But this also means that I can’t just up and dig a hole in the ground for my plants. So, I gave in to the clever marketing and bought a pair of Earth Boxes.
Very cleverly designed, and very easy to Make Yourself. Which I will do next time.
So, here are my little seedlings a week after planting. The right-hand box has a mix of lettuces and arugula. The left hand box has some basic, some chard, and a few little flowers.
Hopefully, we’ll have some nice salads this fall, and a little pesto to freeze, and fresh chard all winter.
